Today I had my first sighting of a honeycrisp apple. Oh my gosh, I love these apples. We only have them in the fall, and my friends and I let each other know when we find them. We also unfortunately report the price. These babies are expensive. Five apples cost me over $6.00. Two years ago, the first year we tried them, my teenage son declared them "abnormally good".
