48/365 Profile

So again I waited really late in the day and ended up trying to find something at home to photograph.  So, I liked this guy out in my backyard and decided to play with apertures.  This is all the way open at 1.8.  Had to choose carefully what I wanted in focus, so went for the edge of his face.  I probably should have used the tripod, but I admit I was being lazy.

  1. I love this photo, very nice job! The focus part is really sharp for being hand held, the speed must not have been too slow. The lighting and the bokeh . . . perfect.

  2. kim, shutter speed was 1/400. kind of fast, since it was a large aperture. i'm glad you like it!
