I was watering some shrubs that were looking a little sad, due to the high temps around here lately. Out popped this little guy, who was disturbed by the hose blasting his hideout. Pretty cool looking, even though I know he's not a welcome sight in terms of plants. Apparently grasshoppers thrive well in dry conditions. And we've sure got that.
Gosh, I remember several years ago they were just horrible and it was a very hot dry summer that year. Nice shot!
